Ending time and beginning eternity

Sue Price
02.05.1956 - 09.12.2007

After the nurses came yesterday, Sue seemed ok (or at least unchanged) for a couple of hours. During the afternoon, however, her breathing changed noticeably - and then at 5:15pm, with just the four of us (Vera, Hannah, Jess, and I) round the bed - she was called home to be "for ever with the Lord".

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (I Thessalonians 4:13 - 18)

You have quoted the very words that were in my mind, we do not grieve like those with no hope. And yet, of course, we grieve. You are much in my prayers, and in the Lord's hands,
Much love,

My sister is gone, but not lost. I will meet her for the first time as she was ever meant to be. When we see Him we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is. I look forward to the glorious moment when I arrive where she now lives. David, Vera, Hannah and Jess - your friend in America is praying for you all.

Praying for you all at this time. You were both dear friends of ours who we loved deeply.
She is with Jesus and with a perfect body free from pain , sadness and sin.
If there is anything we can do please call upon us.
Your brother and sister in Christ

Dear David, Vera, Hannah, and Jess

You are all in our prayers. The news was a shock to us as we had been 'offline' for well over a week due to moving house.

We mourn, but we rejoice. Sue is more alive than any of us.

We have been praying for you all for a while now, since Jonathan Hunt shared with us what you were facing. We will continue to pray that God will comfort you and give you His peace. Thankfully His mercies are new every morning, and they are also everlasting.

Praise God for HIS faithfulness in sending His Son to rescue us from sin and death.

Yours and His,

Phillip Way

Our thoughts and prayers have been with you. We are sad to hear that Sue is no longer by your side, but we rejoice that she is with the Lord. We know that we will see her again someday at our appointed time to go home. May His grace and abundant love fill your hearts during this time of mourning. Much love, Randy & Shelley

Dear David and family
We were so sorry ( and shocked) to hear the news of Sue's home calling as we had not realised that Sue's condition had deteriorated so much. Hallelujah that she is forever with the Lord. I know she was (as are you) a dear friend to Jonathan and Clare, and a grest encouragement to them.May the Lord comfort you all at this time and cause you to know peace and blessing at this fdifficult time.

Dear David and Family, My prayers have been with you since learning of Sue's cancer through Chris Lloyd-Woods. I am deeply saddened to learn of Sue's passing, but ever so rejoicing with you that Sue is home now with our Lord and Savior. I look forward to meeting her one day in Heaven. May you all find comfort and peace through God's Word and precious memories, and may you know there are friends praying for you across the sea. In Christ's Love, Pamela Wilson, East Gate Presbyterian Church, Long Neck, Delaware.
